RenoMark

The RenoMark program was established to promote the credibility of professional renovators. All RenoMark members must offer a minimum of a two-year warranty on all their work. Members must also upgrade their knowledge of construction practices by taking courses four times every year.

Practices RenoMark members agree to abide by include the following:

  1. Return phone calls within two business days.

  2. Offer a minimum two-year warranty on all work (excludes minor home repair).

  3. Carry a minimum of $2 million liability insurance.

  4. Have WSIB where required and/or work only with subcontractors who carry WSIB.

  5. Carry applicable licenses.

  6. Provide a detailed, written contract/scope of work for all jobs.

  7. Maintain a professional level of knowledge of current building codes, permit procedures, and technical skills through continuing education.

  8. Maintain a safe and organized worksite.
